Food Tip: How to Dress Up Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast has become the ultimate millennial dish for good reason. It’s easy, delicious and packed with fiber which helps promote healthy gut bacteria.

 Start with 1 piece whole grain toast smeared with ½ avocado. Add:

  • ½ cup mashed black beans + 1 egg cooked in olive oil + dash of hot sauce

  • 2 ounce piece of smoked salmon + 1 Tbsp capers + 1 Tbsp chopped chives

  • ½ cup canned light tuna + 1 Tbsp chopped red onions + squeeze of lemon juice

  • ¼ cup arugula + 3 chopped fresh figs + 1 Tbsp chopped walnuts

 Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
